Teds Woodworking

Custom cabinets allow for personal design. The wood cabinets in this part of this custom kitchen were designed to accept the electric rangetop in the angled corner cabinet.

All of my cabinets are constructed out of 3/4 in. birch plywood. They are made using dadoes and rabbets with glue and staples. The hardwood faceframes are held on with pocket hole screws and glue. This makes my cabinets stronger than anything that you can buy commercially. It also means that there are no nailing strips in my cabinets. They don't need them! You can put a screw anywhere in the back to mount them. And they won't come down no matter how you load them! And they stay square and true!
