This was the first chessboard that I ever made. The field is Purpleheart and Lacewood with Curly Maple inlayed striping dividing the squares surrounded by a wide Purpleheart border. The inlay striping in the border is Padouk and Curly Maple. The inlyed dots are Padouk, Curly Maple and Lacewood. I had a lot of fun putting this together. Sorry that the pictures aren't better.
This chessboard also has a field of purpleheart and lacewood but with inlayed stripes and border of curly walnut. Yellowheart is accents the border. | |
